Free Water and Watermelon
The Lutheran Church and School of Messiah invites the community to stop by and enjoy free watermelon or water before the Grand Junction Rockies game at 6 pm and before you settle your chairs for the annual Grand Junction Fireworks display at 9 pm at Lincoln Park!
We will start our ANNUAL FREE COMMUNITY WATER & WATERMELON FEED before the Rockies game starts at 4 pm on the far North East corner of the parking lot at 12th and Teller Avenues. Visit with us as we sharing the message that “Salvation is a FREE gift to ALL, and there is NO waiting in line!”.
When the water trough is empty the kids will be allowed to cool off so bring your suits or just wade in the cool water knowing that you too are a “Blessed and Baptized child of God”.
We want to thank the following businesses for their support for our community: Walmart for watermelons, City Market for water, Reddy Ice for Ice and Tractor Supply for their water tough.
The The Evangelism committee will be handing out free watermelon and water from 4pm – 8pm or until the watermelon is gone before the Grand Junction Rockies game at 6:10pm and the Annual City Fireworks display at Lincoln Park at 9pm. We need greeters and helpers to spread the message that, “Salvation is a Free gift for ALL and there is NO waiting in line!”
Preaching and teaching the truth to His expanding kingdom, reaching out to all!
